CANDY / PEARL BEFORE YOU SPRAY

All colours can differ hugely depending on the base colour & surrounding light. It is important to choose the correct base colour for your chosen look. Full dip matte white or black.
You can try Full Dip Full Dip Olive Green Candy Pearl 4 Litre on both base coats but matte black is the recommended base for all candy pearls. So apply over a base coat of full dip black
You can use our pearl & candy aerosol range for experimenting with your own base colour choice of full dip before doing large spray paint project and see if you like the result.

Air dried, flexible, liquid vinyl coating for use on almost anything.
Once dry becomes a tough elastic,waterproof and durable film.
It can be easily removed from most surfaces if required,Plastic,glass and metal.
You will need an average of 6 – 7 coats including your full dip base colour. You can add more layers for greater protection and amazing enhancement to pearls by adding glossifier top coat.

How much full dip do I need to spray my car.

Depends on the size and the base colour, but we can generalise / estimate as follows:
Small size cars two tins ( matte base colour & pearl colour)
Medium size cars three or four tins based on size (usually 3) ( 2 or 3 tins of base & 1 tin of Pearl )
Large cars four or five tins. (3 tins of base & 2 tins of pearl colour )
This dose not include a top coat that you may want to apply like gloss enhancer to change the final look and more protection ( Gloss or Glossifier top coat ).

You can clean Full dip with most soaps, and it will resist water, mud or pressure water cleaning.
No cracks or self peeling over time, remains flexible and stretchy, and will not become brittle or crack.

Before Application

1. SURFACE PREPARATION
Before you start spraying the liquid vinyl, you need to have the surface completely clean, dry and free of any substance that may be capable of causing non grip (as waxes, cleaners etc). It is advisable to ensure that the surface is clean as possible without dirt (such as sand , dust, road tar, brake dust etc.) Full Dip® will bond to the surface you spray it on, and thus, if the surface is not 100% clean, you will get imperfections and faults.
So it is important you clean properly (even those annoying parts and between spokes on wheels). Cleaned perfectly and you will get uniform even finish that lasts years.

1.2 TOLERANCE TEST
Full Dip® can be applied to any surface such as metals, plastics, glass, wood, etc.. However it may best to do a small pre-test on an insignificant part of your project before committing to the full project to make sure it is 100% compatible to what you are spraying over with no adverse reaction.

Buy Full Dip 4 litre clear ready to spray and add our pigments or tints to make your own amazing colours.
You can use any of our tint’s or pigments in Full Dip Clear Sprayable.
Tints : use 1 bottle per 4 litre clear sprayable full dip
Pigments : use 1 x 70gr bag per clear 4 litre sprayable full dip tin.
